Christ Lutheran is somewhat unique, in that every child in our school sings. Part of our mission at the school is to help children to learn to do their best for the Lord in all that they do, and it is my goal to help them to learn this through worship and singing. We have 3 choirs that sing a couple of times a year for church services and community events, for K-2nd, 3rd-5th, and 6th-8th.
In addition, our children’s handbell choir is an extracurricular activity that gives students in 6th-8th grade an opportunity to learn a unique music art form. Each child has a couple of bells that form a choir, teaching them to work together musically, and at the same time giving them more outlets for worship.
