Welcome to the 6th grade! I have been teaching in Lutheran schools for 39 years, 35 years at Christ Lutheran School. I graduated from Concordia University, Nebraska, in 1978.
My husband, Mr. Terry Mooney, principal of Christ Lutheran, and I have been married for 45 years and have four children: Terry, Jennifer, Rebecca, and David, and 10 grandchildren. We have been blessed to have our children graduate from C.L.S. and currently have 6 of our grandchildren attending the school.
I enjoy all sports and currently am an assistant coach for the varsity volleyball team as well as a referee for IHSA. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, gardening, and working on our school’s auction.
It has truly been a blessing to be at Christ Lutheran and teach in a classroom where I can freely share the love of God and forgiveness we receive in Christ to each child.
