Boys Basketball

Christ Lutheran School has a long standing tradition of great basketball.  The junior varsity begins at 4th grade through 6th grade, and varsity boys consists mainly 7th and 8th graders.  The Annual CLS Boys Basketball Tournament is in February of each year.  Both our junior varsity and varsity teams participate in regular season games, competing against Lutheran schools in the Central Illinois Conference, Catholic schools and public schools, including a variety of tournaments.

The varsity team has competed at the Lutheran Sports Association State Tournament and has successfully won 16 state championships, and competing at the National Lutheran Tournament, winning 4 national championships.   While our school boasts a high level of achievement, striving to play as Christian young men is the predominant goal of the program.
