Our History

History of Christ Lutheran School

Christ Lutheran Church has placed high value on Christian education for our children. “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6) Christ Lutheran School actually predates the founding of our congregation as it was founded in 1892.  The first school building was dedicated in 1896 with 104 pupils enrolled. The current building was built in 1958 and the expansion of our school was completed in 2000.

Over the years the school building has changed, the principal and teachers have changed, the  students have changed, but these things remain: sound academic training, dedicated teachers who serve the Lord, and the importance of the word of God in the students’ daily lives.
