Dear Parents & Students:

You finally made it! You're now in the 8th grade. This is a very important year for academic growth and maturity. We have so much to accomplish so that you are ready for high school. I am looking forward to a great year and hope you are too. Please check the website for your school supply list, newsletter, and calendar. You will need your supplies on the first day of school.

Parents, please make sure you register your child on Monday, Aug. 22 at either the morning or evening session. There will be so much information for you and your child. Students, please stop by the room to say hello. You may bring your supplies and try out your new locker combination. Rental fee for locks is $1.00.  If you are unable to come on that Monday, please contact the school or me.

If you are a captain or lieutenant, I will contact you about a quick meeting that day so that we are prepared for the first couple of weeks of school.

Remember, school starts on Wednesday, Aug. 24 with half days for the rest of that week. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to speak with me on registration day, or you may call me. My home number is 697-2514. Enjoy the rest of your summer! See you soon!
