Our Comet Chorale and Christ Lutheran Advanced Band have several upcoming dates for performances in May.  Please mark these on your calendar.

Friday, May 13th, we are performing for the Caterpillar Retirees luncheon at the Fondulac Park District building in East Peoria.  We leave school at 10:30 and will perform from 11:00-11:30a.m.  We need drivers for this, so if you can help please let Mrs. Von Behren know ASAP.

Monday, May 16th, we perform at the courthouse for Arts in Education.  We perform from  11:15 to 12:15.  After our performance, we will have lunch there.  The students may either bring a sack lunch and drink or money to purchase food from the carts.  No students in grades 5, 6, and 7 are allowed to leave the courthouse square.  Eighth graders may go to get ice cream with Mrs. Mooney only across the street. We are taking a bus to the courthouse.

Tuesday, May 17th, at 6:30 p.m. is our Spring Concert at CLS.  This involves all Band students, Bell Choir, and Comet Chorale.  Choir students should be in their seats no later than 6:15 p.m.  Mr. Potter will tell the band students what time he wants them here.  Be sure to invite your friends and families.  The groups are exceptionally good this year!

For each of these performances, students need to be dressed in their white oxford shirts, black pants, black socks, and school shoes.
