Dear Parents & Students:

This Friday marks the half-way point in our first grading period. Many students are doing very well; however some are reverting back to their lazy, careless habits of the past. Please encourage your child to keep his/her mind on the goal of doing his/her best as we prepare for high school. Please look over the graded papers-you will see some students are forced to re-do or re-write sloppy, careless work.

Accelerated Reader goals should be at 50% now, with a comprehension of at least 80%. Before Friday they are responsible for reading and taking a test on one New Testament bible book.

Christ Lutheran School is having a dinner and auction on Sat. Nov. 20, at the Holiday Inn City Centre.  The money raised will help provide the top-notch education your child receives here at C.L.S. Tickets are $30.00 which includes dinner. If you are interested in purchasing tickets or selling tickets please see me. If you have a service you could donate or an auction item, we would love to include it! We have many wonderful auction items, both silent and live auction. It should be a great evening!
