Dear Parents:

I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas and are enjoying the last of our break. Here are just a few upcoming reminders:

1. The grading period ends this Friday, Jan. 8th. Many students have done very well this grading period but need to finish their reading in order to make A.R. goals. Please encourage your child to come back to school with a test ready to take.

2. The first draft of the research paper has been handed in and reviewed by me. I have given suggestions in order to improve the paper before it receives a final grade.  This Friday I would like to see the 2nd rough copy which will be the last time I will look over the paper for a final review. I have moved up the date for the final copy submission since we are moving ahead of schedule. This date will be Friday, Jan. 15. Also, please remember to reserve the date for the Academic Fair night-Feb. 4, 2010, which is when the students will present their power point presentations.
