Dear Parents:

While December brings much joy and anticipation, it also comes with a variety of activities at school and our various churches. There are several highlights for the next couple of weeks:

     1. Green Park (St.Louis) Varsity Boys' Basketball Tournament is this Friday & Saturday. All boys must be at 60% of their AR goal and all required work successfully completed.

     2. Gift exchange-we will draw names for a gift exchange in our classroom. Please keep the cost between $5-$10. We will exchange gifts on the day of our party (Dec. 18). I will send more information home later.

     3. Research Project-most students are keeping up with deadlines and doing an excellent job. Please refer to the printed dates to help your child stay on task.

     4. Choir, Band, Bells Concert- Dec. 10th; please mark your calendars and look for the note in the Tuesday folder concerning the "Taste of CLS".

     5. Can drive- Our school collected over 800 cans for South Side Mission. Our December collection will be given to the Neighborhood House. Thanks to all of you who sent can goods.

Please make sure you are checking over the Tuesday folder, sign and return it to me. This is one way I am sure that you are informed and aware of your child's progress. Please call or stop by if there are any concerns or questions.
