Congratulations Comet VOlleyball!!

State Champions 2009

Dear Parents:

God has truly blessed Christ Lutheran School with so much talent and dedication. Our varsity volleyball team won the 2009 State Championship this last weekend in Springfield. Parents, teachers, pastors can be very proud of these girls-the sportsmanship, attitude and Christian character displayed was really a blessing to see.

Now for the news of the week:

1. Today we begin our research paper project. All students need to pick a living African American who has made a significant contribution to society. They need to make sure there is plenty of research on this individual.

2. Science test this Friday which means students should begin studying NOW!

3. We are collected canned goods and unwrapped new toys for Neighborhood House. Please support these efforts to bring much needed aid to families less fortunate than us. There are also extra credit incentives for canned goods and toys!
