Parents:

As we begin our 2nd grading period I would like to share a few important details:

   1. Please look for the yellow note in your child's Tuesday folder for our conference time this week. If you are unable to make it, please call me so that we can reschedule.

   2. With the month of November approaching, it is time for our first canned food drive. The students are encouraged to bring in canned and boxed goods. Our first drive will be donated to the South Side Mission.

   3. We will begin our big research project which will count 10 grades in language & 4 grades in history. You will receive a schedule of important deadlines which should be kept in a visible place at home.

   4. Please encourage your child to begin reading his/her AR now rather than waiting until the last minute which creates a great deal of stress for them and me!  WIth the basketball season beginning, it is now more important than ever to get a jump of all of our projects and AR goals!
