Here's the news for 4th grade this week.

 

We need 33% of our AR goal with 85% accuracy to be on track for AR for the grading period. We also need 23% with 85% accuracy for recess and sports eligibility.

 

We will have a Social Studies test Thursday.

 

There will be a Math test on Friday. The pre-test will go home on Thursday. Please go over this with your child and sign it for an extra 10 points.

 

We will continue working on Psalm 139 for Memory. Verses 1-8 will be for this week.

 

Our field trip for New Salem Historic Village has been scheduled for Monday, May 5th. We are leaving school at 8:00 am and will return by dismissal time. We are taking the church van and Neighborhood House van which will accommodate our class and 3-4 adults. 

 

We are also going to the symphony concert on Tuesday, April 28th, as part of our study of the orchestra in music class. Please return $4 for the ticket before Friday.

 

Maundy Thursday services will be Thursday at 10 am and 7 pm. Good Friday services will be at noon and 7 pm. School will be dismissed following this service. Easter Sunday services at Christ Lutheran are at 7 am and 10:45 am with an Easter breakfast following the early service. Please join us for these special services that remember the death and resurrection of our Lord.
