Our first day of school is almost here!  Be sure to come to registration with your parents and bring your supplies with you.  You can take care of organizing your desk while they take care of all the paper work.

I'll be your morning teacher and will be teaching reading, spelling, grammar, social studies, music, Spanish, and handwriting. 

Be sure to find your recorder from last year and put it in your bookbag.  We'll be using these again this year in music class.

For morning recess you may bring a piece of fresh fruit for a snack.  It will help you get through the morning and stay alert until lunch.

Accelerated reader is a big part of our 4th grade reading.  You can take tests on any new books you've read over the summer, so be sure you know the titles and authors.

Check out the Resources tab on our 4th grade page where you found this newsletter.  Try the typing program links there.  Be sure to keep your fingers in Home Row and watch the screen, not your fingers!  These are really fun programs!
