We had a great time today at New Salem.  A huge thank you to all the parents who chaperoned and Pastor Schellhas and Mr. Von Behren who drove us!  Sorry for the delay in returning to school.  Dairy Queen was a slow process.  We look forward to our trip on the Spirit of Peoria on Wednesday.  We will wear our uniforms and will leave school at 12:30p.m.  Please remember that we return to school at 3:30p.m.

Our AR goal for Fun Friday is 89% and 62% for sports eligibility, both with 85% accuracy.  We will only have this week and next to read as library will be closed the final week of school.

There are no Spelling or Reading tests this week as we are finishing Little House on the Prairie. 

When we finish our Illinois book we will have an open notes test, so be sure your child keeps the notes in a safe place (preferably the homework folder).

There will be no memory for this week.  There are a few students who have not said Psalm 139 yet to me, so I will be listening to those.
 
There will be a Science test next week.  We will be finishing Chapter 8 this week.
