4th Grade ::

This is our news for the first week of the New Year.
Blessed New Year to all of you! We are back in our regular 4th grade routine after a wonderful Christmas. We finished "part 2" of our Christmas party Monday, which was a lot of fun. Thanks to those who sent treats before Christmas. The children really enjoyed them while they played their board games!
This Friday, Jan. 9, is the end of the second grading period, and report cards will be sent home next week.
We are very proud of the children as almost every single member of our class has over 100% of the AR goal for the grading period! Those below 85% average percent correct need to work very hard this week to get 100's on the tests they take to bring those scores up. We need 100% of the goal for Fun Friday with 85% correct and 70% of the goal for sports eligibility.
Spelling and Reading tests will be this Friday.
We will begin working on memorizing Philippians 2:5-11. For Friday, verses 5-7 will be due.
Congratulations to our Star Spellers, Nathan and Maren! Congratulations also to Auja and Alyssa who have completed their 2nd sticker charts!
Be sure to mark your calendars for February 5th which is when we will have our Academic Fair and Open House. There will also be a book fair, and children will be able to purchase books during their regular library time.
