Here's the news for the week in 4th grade:

We need 78% of our AR goal for Fun Friday and 55% for sports eligibility and recess this week.

Thanks for bringing your children to the concert on Thursday and making it such a wonderful experience for all. We're very proud of our class!

We will continue to work on the Christmas story from Luke 2. Because they did such a great job at the concert on Thursday, there will be no memory due this week. Next week we hope to have all of it memorized through verse 20.

Reading and Spelling tests will be on Friday.

The Math test will be on Thursday of this week. The pre-test will go home on Wednesday. Please sign this for an extra 10 points for your child.

There will be a Social Studies Test Monday or Tuesday of next week.

Congratulations to Maren and Dawson who finished their third sticker charts and to Kuziva who finished his fourth chart. Our Star Spellers this week are Nathan, Breonna, Maren, Calvin, and Emma. Way to go!!

For our Christmas party on Dec.19^th, the children should bring board games to play with each other (no electronic devices). The games should be brought to school on Thursday, Dec. 18th. They may also bring snacks like carrots, chips, pretzels, or a little candy or cookies - no cupcakes, please.

Gifts for the gift exchange may be brought in starting Tuesday of next week, and they need to be here no later than Thursday of that week.
