4th Grade ::

This is our Fourth Grade classroom news for the week.
For AR we need 44% for Fun Friday and 30% for sports eligibility and recess with 85% accuracy.
The Religion Test over Unit 3 will be on Thursday this week.
We are beginning to work on memorizing the Christmas story from Luke 2. Memory for Friday will be Luke 2:1-3.
Social Studies test on Chapter 5 will be Monday. Students should be memorizing Vocab words each day this week. They will be able to write those words not used on the test for extra credit. They need to write both the word and the definition. Use the workbook pages and notes taken in class to study for the test.
We will be having a Science Test on Friday over Chapter 3. Use Workbook pages 66-67 as Vocabulary review for the test along with Chapter Test A that will be going home on Wednesday as review sheets. The Biomes project was due on Tuesday of this week.
Congratulations to our Star Spellers: Juwan, Rae'Venn, Breonna, Dawson, Maren, and Marizza! Congratulations also to Abigail who finished her 2nd sticker chart and Kuziva who finished his 3rd chart!
Midterm ends this Friday, so be sure all make up work is turned in by Thursday.
Neighborhood House is collecting toys for Christmas for its Toy Shop. If you'd like to donate, please send new or like new toys. They need to be here by December 1st. We are also still collecting canned goods for both Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets.
Remember that our 3rd-5th Grade Choir sings this Sunday at the 8:00 service at St. Peters in East Peoria. Attendance is required and counts as a double music grade. See the pink note that is attached to Tuesday papers for details and directions. Students need to be there at 7:40a.m. to warm up.
