4th Grade ::

In our 4th grade classroom this week..........
There will be no memory due this week, but we will begin working on the books of the Old Testament. We will be learning those to a song. Listen to your child recite Psalm 100 and Psalm 23. They do a great job!
In Science, we are studying Vertebrates and Invertebrates. We will be doing a project that will be due on Thursday, October 9th. The project will be on the 5 groups of vertebrates - mammals, fish, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. Find pictures of these animals and put them with the correct group. List characteristics of each group. Make a cover (construction paper is fine), and put your project together. Grades will be determined by accuracy, neatness, effort and overall appearance. Any questions, please give me a call.
Please continue to work on multiplication facts with your child. It will make 2 and 3 digit multiplication so much easier to do when we get to that if they know their facts.
There will be no Reading or Spelling tests this week.
Remember, there is no school this Thursday or Friday.
Congratulations to Kamryn and Abigail who have finished their sticker charts! They have been caught doing something good many times!
We need 67% of our AR goal to be on track with 85% accuracy. For sports eligibility, we need 47%. Congratulations to Rae'Venn who already has 100% of her goal!
In Christ,
Mrs. Bremer and Mrs. Von Behren
