Dear Parents and Grandparents,

Thanks so much for getting your children to church on Sunday.  They did such a great job, and it was truly an uplifting service!

Please go over your child's papers in the Tuesday folder together.  Also in the folder is the midterm progress report.  Please sign and return this.  This shows the areas where extra work and study needs to be done before report cards at the end of the quarter.

For AR we need 55% of our goal for Fun Friday, and 39% for recess and sports eligibility.  Remember that AR is a separate grade on the report card this year as we spend 30 minutes a day reading every morning.  Some children are not using this time to the fullest and need to concentrate more on their reading.

Reading and Spelling tests will be Friday.

We will begin memorizing the books of the Old Testament.  We will be learning this through a song.  For Friday we will say the books through Ecclesiastes.
 
Make sure you read the sheet included with your child's papers about the Science Project which will be due October 7th.

Remember to make your reservation for the Auction on October 29th.  There are even more items available this year!
