Dear Parents and Grandparents,
We hope to see you Wednesday at Family Day. Please join us for worship at 10:00 a.m., and your child may join you for lunch immediately following the service and announcements. The children need to wear their white shirts and black pants Wednesday for choir.
For AR we need 22% for Fun Friday and 15% for sports eligibility.
Next week, we will be taking Achievement tests in the mornings. Please see that your child is well rested and has a good breakfast before school. Also, please don't schedule any appointments for the mornings because these are very difficult to make up, and make ups will be done in areas of the building that may not be a quiet as the classroom, which is not as beneficial to your child.
Congratulations to the following students who have finished another sticker chart: Ally, Tylen, Ronia, Luke, Lilly, Matthew, and Kaydem. Way to go!
Our Memory for the next few weeks will be the Second Article and meaning. We will memorize to the asterisks for Friday.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead.
What does this mean? I believe that Jesus Christ, true God, begotten of the Father from eternity, and also true man, born of the Virgin Mary, is my Lord,**** who has redeemed me a lost and condemned person, purchased and won me from all sins, from death, and from the power of the devil; not with gold or silver, but with His holy, precious blood and with His innocent suffering and death, that I may be His own and live under Him in His kingdom and serve Him in everlasting righteousness, innocence, and blessedness, just as He is risen from the dead, lives and reigns to all eternity. This is most certainly true.
We sing this Sunday, April 3rd, at Christ Lutheran at the late service. This is part of the Music grade. Please have your child here by 10:20 a.m dressed in their choir clothes.
Also, please invite your friends and family members to the school musical on Thursday, April 14th. This will be a wonderful performance of partriotic songs.
