News for the week of December 13th

For AR this week we need 78% for Fun Friday, and 55% for sports eligibility and recess.

Congratulations to Tylen who finished his first sticker chart, and Scott who finished his 2nd. Way to go!

There are no reading or spelling tests this week.

Social Studies test will be this Thursday. Please review the vocabulary words and workbook pages as well as the states and capitals from the Northeast they wrote in their notebooks.

Remember, we are all singing Thursday at the concert. They need to wear their white shirts and black pants with school shoes. Be sure their band instruments are left at school on Thursday for the concert.

We will be reciting the Christmas story as well at the concert on Thursday. This serves as our Memory for this week – Luke 2:1-20.

We will have a Religion test on Thursday over Unit 4.

For our Christmas gift exchange this year, girls should bring a gift marked “to a girl” and boys should bring a gift marked “to a boy”. The amount to spend on this gift is $5.00. Gifts should be sent by Monday, December 20^th. For our party, we will be playing board games so the children may bring their favorite game.
