Dear Parents and Grandparents,

It was so good to meet with you at conferences.  Your children are such a blessing, and by working together they will progress greatly this year!

Please go over your child's papers in the Tuesday folder.

For AR this week we need 22% for Fun Friday and 15% for recess and sports eligibility by Friday.  Athletes who keep up with Fun Friday goals won't have to be concerned about their eligibility this grading period.

Reading and Spelling tests will be Friday. Congratulations to our Star Spellers: Apryl, Logan, Autumn, Kyesha, Tylen, Scotty, and Matthew.  Congratulations also to Luke who finished his 2nd sticker chart! Way to go! 

We will begin memorizing the Christmas story from Luke 2.  Verses 1-3 will be due on Friday.
 
Next week Tuesday, November 16th, we will have a math test over chapter 3.  The pretest will go home on Monday.  Sign the pre-test for an extra 10 points.

We are working on the 6 major biomes in Science.  They have a "mini-project" due on Monday, November 15th.  Ask them about it.

Remember the Christian Education Service on Sunday, November 21, at the early service. Students will need to be here by 7:40 a.m. dressed in their white shirts and black pants or skirts with school shoes.

Also, the auction is on November 20th.  The doors will open at 4:30, and you will need tickets in advance.  They are $30 and can be purchased at school.  Just send your money in, and we will send your tickets home.  Be sure to indicate if you wish to be seated at a table with your friends and family and list their names as seating is assigned.  Your child's beautiful framed art piece will be available for purchase that night only for $15.
