News for the week of October 25

For AR we need 100% of our goal for Fun Friday and 70% for recess and sports eligibility. Remember, in 4th grade Accelerated Reader is a separate grade on the report card.

There will be a Science test over Chapter 2 on Thursday. This is a day later than what last week’s newsletter stated.

Reading and Spelling tests will be on Friday.

We are beginning a one week unit on Martin Luther this week. Reformation Day is this coming Sunday, and we would love to have you join us at Christ Lutheran Church for this service if you don’t have a church home of your own. We will have a test over the Martin Luther material on Monday, November 1^st. They should bring their booklets home this week-end to study for the test.

Please continue to work on the Math Facts in a Flash at home if you have access to a computer. The better they know these facts, the easier the next math chapters will be.

Congratulations to Christina who completed her 1^st sticker chart and to Isaiah who completed his 2^nd chart. Way to go!

Again, if you have any special items to donate to the Christ Lutheran School Auction, please bring them in soon to the office. They will be greatly appreciated. Also plan on attending the dinner and invite your family and friends to join us at the Holiday Inn City Center on Saturday, Nov. 20^th.
