News for the week of October 18th

Monday, October 18, 2010 :: 480 Views :: 4th Grade ::

For AR we need 89% of our goal for Fun Friday and 62% for recess and sports eligibility. Remember, in 4th grade Accelerated Reader is a separate grade on the report card, and we only have 2 weeks left in our first grading period. If your child is below 89%, time needs to be spent every evening reading. If the average percent correct is below 80%, we need 100's on the tests to bring this up.

Reading and Spelling tests will be Friday.

Memory for this week is Psalm 1:1 and 2 due on Friday. We will finish Psalm 1 the following week.

On Friday we will have a Religion Test over Unit 2.

The Chapter 2 Science Test will be next week on Wednesday, Oct. 27^th.

Thank you for bringing your children to Christ Lutheran to sing Sunday. We are very proud of them! The next time we sing is Sunday, November 21st at early service. This will be our annual Christian Education service.

Congratulations to Apryl, Kelsey, Lilly, and Matthew who finished their 1st sticker charts. Star Spellers this week are Apryl, Logan, Kyler, Ronia, and Tylen. Way to go!!

There will be no school on Monday, Oct. 25^th and 1:00 dismissal on Friday, Nov. 19^th.

Again if you have any special items to donate to the Christ Lutheran School Auction, please bring them in soon to the office. They will be greatly appreciated. Also plan on attending the dinner and invite your family and friends to join us at the Holiday Inn City Center on Saturday, Nov. 20^th.
