Dear Parents and Grandparents,

Please go over your child's papers in the Tuesday folder.

For AR this week we need 44% of the goal for Fun Friday, and 30% for recess and sports eligibility.  We need 85% accuracy for both.

Congratulations to our Star Spellers: Apryl, Logan, Scott, Kaydem, Kyler, and Devin!  Congratulations also to Isaiah who finished his first sticker chart.  He has been caught doing something good many times!  Way to go!

Reading and Spelling tests will be this Friday.

Social Studies test will be next Tuesday.  The students should be studying their Vocabulary words and workbook pages for Chapter 2 daily to prepare for the test. 

Our Memory for this week is Psalm 23.  This will be due on Friday.
 
We will have a Religion test on Wednesday over Unit 1. 
 
The Science test over Chapter 1 will be sometime the week of Sept. 27th.  These tests tend to be hard for the children.  They may want to start studying early if they have time.

Mark your calendars for a few special dates:  Sunday, October 17th, our 3-5th grade choir sings at late service at Christ Lutheran.  Attendance is required and counts as a double music grade.  Saturday, November 20th, is the CLS dinner and auction.  You will want to invite your family and friends to this!  Sunday, November 21st, at the early service is Christian Education service, and all children in our school will be participating.
