4th Grade ::

Dear Parents,
Thanks to all of you who came to Open House last week. The children were very excited to show you their special projects!
Midterm grades are in the Tuesday folders this week. Please sign and return.
For AR we need 55% for Fun Friday and 39% for recess and sports eligibility.
Social Studies test will be Thursday. Please review the questions in the workbook and memorize the vocabulary words in the spiral notebook.
We are also working on a Social Studies tri-fold. The students need to design a brochure describing a vacation they would like to take to various points of interest in the South. We are gathering pictures in computer class, but they need to get information about the places they want to visit. One page needs to include a map with places to visit and a route marked. These will be due Thursday, February 18th.
We will continue working on The First Article of the Apostle's Creed and its meaning from Luther's Small Catechism for our Memory this week. We will memorize to the asterisk for Friday.
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
What does this mean? I believe that God has made me and all creatures; that He has given me my body and soul, eyes, ears, and all my members, my reason and all my senses, and still takes care of them. He also gives me clothing and shoes, food and drink, house and home, wife and children, land, animals, and all I have. He richly and daily provides me with all that I need to support this body and life.*** He defends me against all danger and guards and protects me from all evil. All this He does only out of fatherly, divine goodness and mercy, without any merit or worthiness in me. For all this it is my duty to thank and praise, serve and obey Him. This is most certainly true.
We will have a Science test on Wednesday over Chapter 6.
There will be a Religion test on Thursday over Unit 6.
Your child may bring valentines and/or treats to share with the class on Friday, February 12th.
Have a blessed week,
Mrs. Bremer and Mrs. Von Behren
