Dear Parents,

Please go over your child's papers in the Tuesday Folder together.

For AR we need 78% of the goal for Fun Friday and 55% for recess and sports eligibility, both with 85% accuracy.  A huge congratulations to Jalen who has over 100% of his goal!!!!

Reading and Spelling tests will be Friday.

Social Studies test will be Wednesday.  Please quiz your child on the 3 branches of government, the questions in the workbook, and the Chapter 5 vocabulary words.

We continue to memorize the Christmas story from Luke 2.  Verses 1-16 are due on Friday.  Most have this memorized, and we will be reciting it at the Taste of CLS on Thursday.  The children do a great job!
 
There will be a Math test over Chapter 4 on Wednesday.  The pre-test is going home on Tuesday (today).  Please sign for an extra 10 points for your child.
 
We will have a Religion test over Unit 4 on Friday.

Remember that all students in our school will be singing at the Taste of CLS on Thursday, December 10th.  Children not attending the dinner need to be there by 6:15.  They need to wear their white shirts and black pants or skirts.  This counts as a double music grade.

Keep sending canned goods.  This month they will go to Neighborhood House.

Our gift exchange/Christmas party will be Friday, December 18th.  Each girl needs to bring a girl's gift marked "to a girl," and each boy needs to bring a boy's gift marked "to a boy."  Please bring a gift costing $5.00.  You may also send snacks for our party.  The children need to bring a board game that they can play at the party.  (no electronics, please)  Gifts may be sent to school next Monday.
