Dear Parents,

Please go over your child's papers in the Tuesday folder.

We need 67% of our AR goal to be on track, and 85% accuracy on the average % correct.

This is a short week with no school Thursday or Friday.  Next week there will be no school on Friday, but we still need volunteers for the CLS Volleyball tournament.  Call the school office if you can help that weekend.

Our Solcial Studies test over Chapter 2 will be tomorrow.  There will be a few questions from Chapter 1 that the children have taken notes on, but most will be from chapter 2.  Please be sure your child has all Chapter 2 vocabulary words memorized and review the workbook questions for Chapter 2.

We will begin working on 1John 4:7-12 for our Memory.  The 4th graders will be saying this verse at the Christian Education Service on October 18.  Please plan to attend this service with your child.  Attendance counts as a double music grade, too.
 
Attached to your child's papers is a note about the Science Project they will be working on.  Please make note of the due date.

We will have our Spelling pretest on Monday, October 5th.  If your child hasn't shown you the Spelling City.com website, please have them do so.  This is a really fun way to study for the pretests and tests.

Only 2 children have brought in their Clorox wipes, so if you have not sent yours, please send them by next Monday for "sticker credit."

Congratulations to Kacie, Kadaja, Sergio, Maya, McKenna, and Junoria who have finished their sticker charts!  Way to go!

If you have any changes in phone numbers (including your other emergency contacts you listed at registration) or e mail address changes, please be sure to send those to school.
