4th Grade ::

Dear Parents,
A huge thank you to all the parents and grandparents who helped with the field trip Friday! What a great time we had! Praise God for the gorgeous weather!
Midterm progress reports go home today in the Tuesday folder. Now is the time to target those subjects with lower grades.
AR goal for Fun Friday is 55%, and 39% for eligibility and recess.
Reading and Spelling tests will be Friday. Since we only have 3 days of school next week, we will not have a Spelling pre-test Monday.
We will finish the Old Testament books for our Memory this week.
On Thursday we will have a Science test over Chapter 1. These tests tend to be hard. We will be reviewing all this week. There will be several things going home for them to work on to help in the review process. Please go over this with your child.
Please continue to work on multiplication facts with your child. These need to be known well.
Memory Book details were given to the children today. They need to bring pictures to glue in a Memory Book we will be making next week. Send copies of originals you don't want glued in the book. Rough drafts of a short paragraph describing each "memory" are due Thursday. They need their pictures before they can write these.
Social Studies test will be next week. Students should be memorizing their vocabulary words from Chapter 2 and studying the pages in the workbook each night to prepare.
Congratulations to Tony who finished his first sticker chart! Congratulations also to Izaiah and Jalen, our Star Spellers! Way to go!
Please send a container of Clorox wipes (or a generic version) that we can use to sanitize desks, door knobs, etc. to help fight any potential flu or cold germs in the classroom. Also, thank you for not sending your children to school when they are running fevers.
Have a blessed week,
Mrs. Bremer and Mrs. Von Behren
