Dear Parents,

Your child's papers are in the Tuesday folder.  Please go over them together.  We have a great start to the school year, and the children are working very hard.  Please ask to see their planners every day as we try to get them in the habit of writing everything down and checking it in the right hand column when the assignment is completed.  Children are welcome to take their work home to have you check it and make corrections before it is graded.

AR goals for this week are:  Fun Friday--22% with 85% accuracy; Sports eligibility--15% with 85% accuracy.

Reading and Spelling tests will be Friday.  Congratulations to our Star Spellers: Kacie, Kadaja, Jalen, Tony, and Keseanna!  Great work!  Pre-test next week will be on Tuesday because of the Labor Day holiday Monday.

Memory for this week is Psalm 100.  We have been working on this together everyday in class.  They have been doing a great job with it.  Ask them to say it for you this week.
 
Please make sure your child has a pair of clean tennis shoes to leave at school for gym.  Their P.E. grade goes down if their shoes are not here, and they are unable to participate.

Wednesday is chapel.  Offerings this month go to the LWML school kits for children less fortunate than we are.

There is an important pink Choir note in the folder.  Please mark your calendar with our choir's dates.
