Performance Day will take place in Music classes the first week in January beginning with Tuesday classes. Children can prepare a hymn, praise song, or church Christmas carol to sing from memory or play a piece on their band instrument or recorder. This will earn 25 extra credit points on their music grade for this quarter!

Youth Choir Carolling Cancelled: The Youth Choir Christmas Carolling at J C Penney's tonight, December 18th, has been cancelled.

Remember all students in our school are participating at the Taste of CLS on Thursday, Dec. 4th, and need to be here by 6:15 p.m. dressed in white shirts, black pants or skirts, dark socks, and school shoes. This will be a very special Christmas program, and it will count as a double music grade for every student. The children have been working very hard on their music. See you there!
The first day of school is quickly approaching. I really enjoyed my home visits with you and I am looking forward to a year full of blessings with your child and you.
I hope that your summer is going well. For those of you that have children enrolled in kindergarten for the 2008-09 school year, I plan on making home visits around July 30.
