Dear Parents,

         It was very enjoyable meeting with all of you last week at conferences.  Thank you for being supportive of your child and his/her work.

         This week we finish up with The Boxcar Children book.  Today the second project was handed out and it is due on Wednesday.  Please see the schedule below for the other project.  We will continue in the red reader next week.

         We are also taking a break from our regular social studies curriculum as we spend time learning about the Pilgrims and the first Thanksgiving.  A final written assignment will be used as an assessment for the unit.  More information will come concerning that.
