Dear Parents,

         Friday the “Fire Safety House” will be at CLS.  We will take the tour and learn about techniques to keep us safe.  Please discuss these techniques at home.

         If you have not turned in your permission slip for the Oct. 26^th field trip, please do so this week.  I still need some parents to help drive!

          Please remember that we do not have school next Friday, October 28^th (teacher workday).

Basal reading (review nightly):   pp. 168-169; 170-185

Math facts: daily math drills, x7   It is a good idea to buy a set of                                                   multiplication flashcards to have at home to practice.                                                                                                                              

Memory Work (due Thursday):

      Psalm 119:73 Give me understanding to learn Your commands.

     John 3:16  God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that               whoever believes in Him shall not perish,  but have eternal life.
