Dear Parents,

         Please find the attached permission slip for October 26^th.  We will attend the “Earth Day, Everyday” workshops presented by the Peoria Recycling and Conservation Dept. at the Civic Center.  This event is only for 3^rd graders around the Peoria area, and it is a fun and educational day.  I will need drivers to help out, so if you are interested, please let me know.

         We dismiss school at 11:30 this Friday, as the CLS Volleyball tournament will be here.  We also have next Monday off for Columbus Day.  Come cheer on the Comets!

         The science test has been moved to Thursday.  There will be a religion quiz on Friday (see reverse).

            I thank You my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, Your dear Son, that you have kept me this night from all harm and danger; and I pray that You would keep me this day also from sin and every evil, that all my doings in life may please You.  For into Your hands I commend myself, my body and soul, and all things.  Let Your holy angel be with me, that the evil foe may have no power over me.  Amen.
