Dear Parents,
On Wednesday the 3rd-5th grade choir sings at the 10:00 Lenten service. Please have your child dress in their choir uniform. This is also 3rd-5th grade Family Day. Please join us for the service as well as lunch that follows.
Friday there will be a SS test over Ch. 6. A study guide is on the reverse side. Please make sure that review is completed every night, and that the vocabulary concepts are solid.
We begin a new book this week for reading. There will be a packet of skills, as well as a final AR test over the book. We will complete most of the reading in class, but they should review the reading at home.
Reading: Ramona Quimby, Age 8 Ch. 1-4
Multiplication/Division this week: x8 Review of other facts
Memory work (due Friday): The Apostle’s Creed (All)
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
