Dear Parents,

         There are a few dates to mark on your calendar:

       1.  Monday, October 25^th is now a full-day off of school for a teacher workday.  Friday, November 19^th is a half-day off for a teacher workday.

       2.  Sunday, October 17^th : The 3^rd-5^th grade choir sings at the 10:45 service at Christ Lutheran.  Attendance is part of their music grade.

         We do not have school his Friday, as the CLS Volleyball tournament will be here.  We also have next Monday off for Columbus Day.  Come cheer on the Comets!

Math facts: daily fact sheet; x 7

Memory work (due Thursday):  Luther’s Morning Prayer

            I thank You my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, Your dear Son, that you have kept me this night from all harm and danger; and I pray that You would keep me this day also from sin and every evil, that all my doings in life may please You.  For into Your hands I commend myself, my body and soul, and all things.  Let Your holy angel be with me, that the evil foe may have no power over me.  Amen.
