Dear Parents,

         Last week we completed our Map Skills booklet.  You will find this graded work in the folder.  This week we will begin work in our Social Studies book, as well as in our Science book.

         The children are working very hard on their cursive skills.  We have concentrated on the correct connections of our first and last names.  Please practice these skills at home, as well as the correct writing of your complete address (city, state) in cursive.

         Remember that you can access your child’s academic progress on the TeacherEase program found on the school website.  If you have any questions, please ask.

         Please review vocabulary words daily for the reading quiz every Thursday.  These words can be found in the assigned reading.
